Course Description

For professionals who aspire to lead in the management of projects and programmes, this intensive executive development MSc will enable you to move into leading roles in shaping and delivering corporate and project strategy.

The programme helps you develop a critical understanding of the challenges that project executives face in designing and implementing strategy, explores how the Management of Projects approach leads to improved value-creation and effective outcomes, and provides tailored, one-to-one professional advice that focuses on your career development specifically.

Course Content

The programme consists of six compulsory modules (90 credits) and two optional modules (30 credits) plus a dissertation (60 credits). 

Upon successful completion of 180 credits, you will be awarded a MSc in Strategic Management of Projects.

Entry Requirements

The normal minimum qualifications are a lower second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Candidates with significant relevant experience and impact in their industry may be exempted from this requirement.

A minimum of two years experience in project-based work or project-based organisation.

Evidence of achievement and/or impact in your industry (e.g. promotion, project scope, professional recognition, etc.)

English language requirements

If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.

The English language level for this programme is: Standard

Additional Information

Full-time students study for 37.5 hours per week during term time. Flexible mode students normally attend half this amount.
