Course Description
Communication is vital in every modern field of employment, but increasingly intercultural communication is recognised as crucial in multicultural societies and international or global companies and organisations. This is particularly true in business contexts which are affected by the global economy. This course develops your intercultural communication skills in business and to a wide range of other fields and offers you a workplace placement for intercultural communication practice in a British company or organisation. This course is managed by the Centre for Intercultural Research in Communication and Learning (CIRCL) which brings together expertise, skills and strengths from across three faculties to provide a unique learning experience. This inter-disciplinary approach will enable you to gain knowledge and practical skills to achieve intercultural communication competence in global business contexts. The content of the programme aims to enhance your ability of intercultural awareness and understanding, the use of professional language, confidence in communication, understanding and practising operations in international business related contexts.
Entry Requirements
